Value #1 |
THE PURSUIT OF GOD :
Our highest value is the pursuit of God. We hunger to know and
experience God’s presence, hear His voice, and follow hard after
him |
| |
|
|
Value #2 |
KINGDOM OF GOD:
(God’s rule and reign in our lives) We aim to
move in all the signs of the present fulfillment of God’s
kingdom, invoking the Spirit’s powerful, ministering healing
through the Spirit’s gifts, seeing God heal and work wonders in
and through his people. |
| |
|
|
Value #3 |
CHRIST-LIKENESS:
We desire that Jesus’ love, mercy, grace, truth, purity, power
and integrity shine through all we do. |
| |
|
|
Value #4 |
BEING SPIRIT-LED:
We honor Jesus as our Head and the Holy Spirit as our Counselor
and guide. We seek to be responsive to the Holy Spirit in life
and ministry laying down our agenda’s in pursuit of His. |
| |
|
|
Value #5 |
THE MERCY OF GOD:
We believe mercy is fundamental to all that God does in
salvation. We, therefore, aim to extend mercy to one another and
to all to whom we minister. |
| |
|
|
Value #6 |
INTEGRITY:
It is important to us to speak the truth, deal honestly, and
live uprightly before God and one another. We are committed to a
lifestyle marked by balance, tolerance, and moderation according
to Biblical guidelines. We value integrity in relationships,
characterized by openness, loving confrontation, as well as
avoiding slander and gossip. |
| |
|
|
Value #7 |
REALITY OF THE NATURAL AND SUPERNATURAL:
We aim to walk in the Spirit and see real supernatural works of
God. We also aim to function on the natural plane based on God’s
leading and rational thinking. |
| |
|
|
Value #8 |
SIMPLICITY:
We desire to avoid doing anything “for religious effect” but
rather to operate in natural low key, “non-hype” patterns. We do
not endorse any form of coercion or manipulation but chose to
allow the Holy Spirit to do the work he desires, in the manner
he determines best. |
| |
|
|
Value #9 |
FLEXIBILITY OF ALL PROGRAM:
We stand ready to change at any point at the Lord
directs or in order to more effectively pursue our purposes and
values. Any program or activity which is no longer service the
needs of the body or of the Kingdom can and should be changed.
We desire to always ask: “What does the Lord want us to do now?”
We expect to be adjusting and evolving. |
| |
|
|
Value #10 |
CHURCH GOVERNMENT:
Jesus Christ is the head of RCF, we want him to
be in control of the church. The Holy Spirit governs the church
by directing us in our day-to-day affairs. Decisions-making
serves to enable ministering more effectively but is not the
main activity of the church. Administration is to be streamlined
to make ministry primary. |
